Description
Catalogue: GHF-E106-R03 · Type: Email reply from a public body · Holder: family mailbox · Register: FOI & Public-Authority Reply Register
The Wales Office confirms it has logged the family’s request for an internal review of FOI 26FOI 103 as IR/26/16, under the Freedom of Information Act. It promises an outcome by 26 October 2026, from an independent official who did not handle the original request. If the original decision is upheld, a letter will give reasons; if overturned, held information will be released in whole or part. The reply does not address the family’s specific points: that only digital records were searched, that the transfer of paper files in 1999 and 2007 was stated as an assumption (“would have been”), and that the five limbs of the request were not answered one by one. The family’s review request (28 September) sets those out and also asks for a section 17 notice or the transfer reference. 🕒
