Exact-date provenance check

A photographed document dated 6 November 1877 is now identified as a separate Bute Trustees building lease for a Clyde Street house plot in Roath, to John Williams, builder, of System Street (EV-0213). It must not be treated as the reported Llandough lease recorded here.

This page’s date is a reported lead, not a located instrument. Until the exact wording of Mary (Nancy) Williams’s statement or another independent source is quoted line by line, do not treat the day “6 November” as authenticated for the farm transaction. The correct status remains: reported 1877 Llandough document, original and plan not located; property, parties, rent, term and parcel extent unconfirmed.

For other 1877 records tested and excluded as farm-lease matches, see the Kissed Frogs register. The Cardiff lease’s 99-year term ending around 1976 does not explain a 1987 amalgamation.
