Interpretation and wider context
UNRESOLVED. The extract is too short to say what was done on 20 March 1989. The words “to the ground” and the arrival of lorries for an operation lasting several days suggest further demolition or clearance of the site more than three months after the reported demolition of the farmhouse (N11). That reading is tentative. It could instead refer to removal of rubble or to remaining outbuildings. It matters for the question of what stood on the site after December 1988, so obtaining the full report is a priority.
