page · Updated 2026-09-30T13:24:11 · Original source

This page continues the Records Access Chronology. Where it differs from an earlier entry there, this page is the later record.

  • 28 Sep, 21:39–21:42. Preservation notices sent to the public bodies and to other likely record-holders. This supersedes the earlier “drafted, not sent” entry. Also sent: a new FOI/EIR request to the Vale of Glamorgan; a formal concern to the Vale’s Monitoring Officer; a subject access request to HM Land Registry.
  • 29 Sep. Heneb acknowledged the formal complaint of 27 September and appointed an investigating officer, with a five-week response aim.
  • 29 Sep. RCAHMW answered four requests together (RC26-0375). It holds no registered-file correspondence on the site. It confirmed that the HER site description largely reproduces Richard Suggett’s 1988 account, and that archive numbers 6364275 and 6364276 relate to other sites. Further enquiries will be treated as public enquiries and may be chargeable.
  • 29 Sep. The Wales Office acknowledged the preservation notice.
  • 30 Sep. Supplement sent to the Cabinet Minister for Culture on the HER notice of 20 September. Supplement sent to Cadw on the open stage-one complaint.
  • 30 Sep. The family’s review of GGAT’s role (Version 4.0.3) was prepared for Heneb’s investigating officer. Its findings are summarised on Archaeology and Heritage.
