PRINCE2 Project Management
Purpose
This is the project-control layer for the Great House Farm / Tŷ Mawr evidence, history, replica-museum and remedy programme. It uses PRINCE2 Project Management Version 7, tailored: a defined mandate, controlled scope, stage-based planning, work packages, measurable task groups, monthly highlight reports, and escalation of issues and risks.
Current control date: 1 October 2026. The management record is retrospective as well as forward-looking. Historical monthly reports are backdated to the project evidence-access chronology and are not presented as contemporaneous records if they were reconstructed later.
| Control page | Function |
|---|---|
| Project Mandate | Why the project exists, authority, intended benefits, boundaries and success criteria. |
| Project Brief | What will be delivered, for whom, scope, assumptions, constraints, outputs and acceptance criteria. |
| Project Plan | Milestones, work packages, task groups, measures, dependencies and stage sequencing. |
| Delivery Breakdown | Detailed work-breakdown structure: milestone → work package → task group → measurable task. |
| Monthly Highlight Reports | One report per month with Plan, Performance, Issues/Risks/Concerns and Plan Moving Forward. |
| Project Analytics | Management statistics, trend measures, throughput, backlog, external-response performance and delivery health. |
Management principles
- Evidence before conclusion. A missing record is a recovery task, not proof of what the record contained.
- Separate fact, family evidence and inference. Management reporting must preserve that distinction.
- Every material action gets a control home. Requests, reviews, disclosures, research questions, corrections and museum outputs must belong to a work package and task group.
- External dependency is measurable. Waiting for a public body is not counted as an internal delivery failure, but the elapsed time and next escalation are tracked.
- Monthly control is cumulative. Each month’s plan is derived from the previous month’s forward plan and the current evidence of performance, issues and risk.
Status vocabulary
| Status | Use |
|---|---|
| Not started | Approved task group has no recorded activity. |
| Active | Work is underway and has a current next action. |
| Awaiting external response | The next controllable action is with an external body. |
| Blocked | A dependency prevents meaningful progress; an escalation route is recorded. |
| Complete | Acceptance criterion met and supporting evidence linked. |
| Closed / archived | No further action planned, with the rationale recorded. |
| Re-opened | Previously completed work has returned to active investigation because new evidence changed the control position. |

Justice Programme
The Justice Programme is the legal/public-accountability sub-programme. It converts the evidence base into a controlled strategy for title determination, reopening/set-aside analysis, public inquiry, institutional remedy, property restoration, potential compensation, narrative justice and the Argentina replica museum.

PRINCE2 7 master controls
Use the PRINCE2 7 Compliance & Control Manual for the method, the PRINCE2 Control Registers for risk/issue/change/quality/lessons/decisions, the G0 PID Pack for the four project PIDs, and the October S0 Stage Plan & Control Register for execution.
Agent editing controls
All agents working on the Wiki must follow the Site Agent Operating Rules — Evidence, Links, Citations & Change Control. No substantive factual statement should be added without a supporting source/hyperlink where available. Repeated statements must link to the canonical source. Material changes must pass the relevant PRINCE2 quality, issue/change, risk and decision controls.
