Design rule: Keep anything longer than about ten words behind a native expandable triangle. The closed view is a short, meaningful label; opening it reveals the complete text, including lists and links.

Example paragraph — short label, full text inside

This is the complete example paragraph. It stays available to readers but does not create a large block of text in the collapsed view. The whole paragraph appears when the reader opens the triangle.

Example bullet list — collapsed until opened
  • First item: the complete explanation remains here, even when it is longer than ten words.
  • Second item: evidence references and links should remain intact inside the expanded section.
  • Third item: multiple related points can be grouped under one clear summary where that makes sense.
Example evidence note — Parcel B only

The full evidence description and interpretation belong here. The summary should identify the key point without making readers scan the entire explanation first.

Evidence description: This is where the detailed description would appear.

Interpretation: This is where the qualified interpretation would appear, clearly distinguished from the evidence itself.

Example short item — no unnecessary expansion

Very short labels and headings can stay visible. The rule is to reduce information overload, not to hide every individual word or make the site harder to navigate.

Rollout rule: Apply this pattern to paragraphs and longer bullet points across the wiki, grouping related content under useful labels. Preserve the original text, evidence, links, headings, and page hierarchy. Do not turn navigation labels or genuinely short items into needless extra clicks.
