Stage Plan — Parcel-A Loss & Remedy Sprint (9 October–14 November 2026)

Stage objective: corroborate and legally characterise the established family account that on 4 July 1955 WGR seized Parcel-A forest north of the house and ground south-east later registered as VG41 while enforcing possession of Parcel B; trace those exact polygons into present ownership/title; and obtain a solicitor’s route decision on remedies that can still be pursued. This is not a fresh inquiry into whether the family says these areas were taken.

Stage boundary

In: corroboration and mapping of the established 1955 seizure account; the distinction between full Parcel A and the house/buildings/garden group Mary retained; 1962 house-group scope comparison; Mary’s statement and family evidence provenance; VG41 registration file and present title; north-forest 1955→1994→2005→current title chain; HMLR Schedule 4/8; protective notice/standstill decision; court/corporate disclosure; ICR.

Out: re-research of the 1939 agreement (already obtained; Parcel-B-only); routine D696 rent-book work unless a direct Parcel-A/woodland/VG41 lead appears; broad historical research unrelated to the actual lost land.

Work packages

WP Deliverable Due Acceptance
WP-55A 1955 wording/enforcement corroboration + parcel map 13 Oct Map the established family account of Parcel-B enforcement plus seizure of Parcel-A north forest and south-east VG41 ground; compare the 1955 documents and 1962 house-group proceedings without treating “house and garden” as the full Parcel A.
WP-55B Mary’s statement/family evidence provenance + full Parcel-A map 15 Oct Index Mary’s c.1974 account, corroborating records, custody/provenance and any genuine first-hand evidence; annotate the full Parcel A, separate Parcel B, north forest, south-east green and retained house/buildings/garden group. Do not claim a witness has first-hand knowledge unless they do.
WP-VG VG41 registration file + present title 14 Oct Complete 1967–70 file, polygon, claimant/source and present owner/title.
WP-WOOD Woodland physical/title chain 14 Oct 1955 polygon matched through 1975/1982/1994/2005/current plans.
WP-LEGAL Solicitor/counsel route triage 12 Oct Written decision on 1955 cause of action, current title, Schedule 4/8, protection, disclosure and limitation.
WP-DISC Targeted historic disclosure/preservation 16 Oct 1955/1962/1984–87 records and BP/Linklaters requests completed or blocker recorded.
WP-ICR HMLR ICR submission 13 Nov Filed before verified deadline.

Stage controls

Zero tolerance: evidence-preservation and legal deadlines.

Progress: only an executed filing/request, acquired primary evidence, completed human review, written legal decision or formally recorded blocker counts.

Contrary evidence: retain results that weaken the family case. Primary records may alter the legal analysis of authority or title, and the VG41 file may identify an independent claimant/source. Such results must be recorded and evaluated without treating the family’s known account of what happened as a blank question.

Stage exit — 14 November 2026

The exit dossier must map the family’s established account of the 1955 seizure of the north forest and south-east VG41 ground during Parcel-B enforcement; state what the surviving legal process documents authorise or describe; assess WGR’s asserted underlying right; identify who claimed/owned the green by 1970; trace the same north-forest polygon into the current title chain and current owner(s); and record which remedies survive after limitation/purchaser/registration analysis.

Unresolved issues leave the stage only with a named evidential blocker and a next decision date. They do not reopen the general research loop. 🕒
