Quotation (verbatim): “Order of exchange of lands. Place: Llandough, Glamorgan. Parties: Major H H Lee and T R Thompson”
Fits with: The Lambeth Palace entry suggests T R Thompson was the rector of Leckwith with Llandough and Cogan, which would place this exchange at Llandough-juxta-Penarth (likely glebe next to the church that adjoins the farm). An 1879 exchange plan could show the farm and glebe boundaries before the Bute era documents.
Cuts against: Which Llandough is NOT VERIFIED (there is also Llandough near Cowbridge). Catalogue line only; the plan and parcels are unseen.
Notes: Free route: TNA location-and-content enquiry.
