Quotation (OCR, snippet only): “Girl hurt.—Mary Butler, aged five was injured in a collision with a car near her home at Great House Farm, Llandough, last night. She was taken to Llandough Hospital. Her injuries are not serious.”
Note on the name: “Butler” may be an OCR or press error for Buckler. That is unconfirmed. If the child was a Buckler, she was born about 1953–54 (inference from “aged five”).
Caution: Several British Newspaper Archive hits for “Great House Farm, Llandough” concern Llandough near Cowbridge, a different farm. The mention of Llandough Hospital suggests this report is about Llandough near Penarth (inference).
Proves: A press report places a five-year-old girl, named as Mary Butler, at a home at Great House Farm, Llandough, in November 1959.
Does not prove: That the child was a Buckler, or anything about tenure or occupation of the farm.
